PromotionRequest

Struct PromotionRequest

Source
pub struct PromotionRequest { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Opaque validated legacy schema-1 promotion request.

The serde wire type is private, so callers cannot deserialize around Self::parse_canonical. Schema 1 contains locators only and has no success result type. A closed schema-2 request remains deferred until the route and coordination adapters can structurally require every retained proof.

Implementations§

Source§

impl PromotionRequest

Source

pub fn parse_canonical(bytes: &[u8]) -> PromotionResult<Self>

Parses an exact compact, newline-terminated, duplicate-free request.

§Errors

Returns FailureCode::Schema or FailureCode::Noncanonical for a malformed request, a nonliteral policy, or a path/digest violation.

Source

pub fn run_id(&self) -> &str

Returns the run identity consumed by coordination and promotion state.
